Opening this month, virtually to the public is the annual Pasadena Showcase House of Design. This year’s event will be online-only for the public, presented as Ultimate Viewpoints:56, an immersive 3-D virtual tour of the Locke House, a 1937 Federal-country estate designed by Hollywood’s society architect, Gerard R. Colcord, to be the 2020 Pasadena Showcase House of Design.

Studio Jhoiey created a sense of luxury and wellness in the primary bathroom, pairing the Sawyer Tub in Smooth Copper by Americh with a Polished Gold tub filler from the Edge Collection by Franz Viegener.  Impero Wall Sconces from Allegri Crystal by Kalco Lighting add a touch of glamour while Botanicals wall tile by Walker Zanger creates a biophilic escape.
The ThermaSol Smart Shower package, which allows the user to control all elements of their shower experience, from water duration and temperature to steam activation, sound, lighting and more, was chosen by Studio Jhoiey in the primary bathroom along with Secolo Porcelain Slab Tile by Walker Zanger to create an at-home wellness retreat.

Each year, the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, raises funds to support grants and scholarships for a diverse set of music-focused non-profits, that provide instruments for kids, underwrites concerts and much more.

Jake Galang of Ilustracion by Jake, Corp. transformed the former sewing room into a highly functional laundry room. Details like Waterstone Faucet’s Contemporary PLP Pulldown in satin brass and Walker Zanger’s Kaleidoscope green and white tile create a fresh look for a classic palette.
