San Francisco’s most coveted design event—The Fall Show—returns for its 41st year on October 11th with the Opening Night Gala, benefiting the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF). This year’s theme “La Dolce Vita”, celebrates the Italian way of living a good life. From Botticelli to Bertoia, Fellini to Fornasetti and Schiaparelli to Sottsass, 40 dealers from around the world will showcase rare, breathtaking art, groundbreaking design, exuberant colors and refined materials.

In addition to the Opening Night Gala, the weekend offers a diverse range of programming including book signings and letters with speakers including Nina Campbell, Newell Turner, Jean Liu, Brigette Romanek, Michael Diaz-Griffith, Noz Nozawa, William Li, Alfredo Paredes, and many more. “For anyone interested in art and design, furniture and the decorative arts—buying, collecting, or simply learning about art and antiques—this show is not to be missed. It’s a Bay Area ‘Must Do!’
of the fall social season with four wonderful, vibrant days filled with terrific dealers, fascinating lectures, and gobs of eye candy,” says show chair Suzanne Tucker.
