Former Culver City furniture destination HD Buttercup transforms into a multi-line design center anchored by the Coco Republic American flagship store

With other 20 years in business, HD Buttercup’s Culver City destination was recently transformed into a multi-line design center where designers and consumers can shop a diverse range of furniture, accessories, lighting, bedding, books and more. Located inside the iconic Helm’s Bakery, the 100,000-square-foot space is anchored by the renowned Australian brand Coco Republic’s flagship location.

The expansive building also houses boutique experiences curated by Matouk, Coyuchi, Vondom, Pom Pom at Home, Icon by Design and L.A. icon—Fred Segal Home.

This innovative re-imagination of HD Buttercup was led by the team at Coco Republic, a highly-sought after Australian brand that was established in 1979. With over 27,000-square-feet of vignettes showcasing their indoor and outdoor offerings, the Culver City flagship brings their vision stateside fostering inspiring, memorable and functional spaces.
